Also, we’re not experts in 3D modelling, so we’d probably have to purchase models or hire a 3D artsist.

It also depends on whether you want full ownership of the content, or just a license to use the clip… so that I still have the rights to license the work to others.

To give you a rough idea, we rarely provide custom content for under $50 per clip. That would be a very simple, ten second clip in HD (say Earth or Mars from orbit, for example), and we would retain ownership of the work.

A longer clip in 4K, requiring multiple or detailed 3D models, complex camera moves etc… where you would own the rights, might cost anything from $500 to $1000, or even more.

Hopefully that gives you a ballpark figure, but we’d be happy to give you a quote if you let us know what you need. We might have an existing clip we can re-purpose to keep costs down. [/x_accordion_item][x_accordion_item title=”Q: What if i need multi-use licenses with indemnification?” open=”false”]Our work is available to license on a number of different sites with varying license terms. If you have a specific requirment, or a preferred stock agency, then just drop us a line and we’d be happy to provide you with the relevant links.

If you need a global, perpetual license, with unlimited uses and the highest level of indenification available, then we would recommend purchasing from Pond 5. [/x_accordion_item][x_accordion_item title=”Q: Why use stock footage?” open=”false”]A: Why not! Using stock footage saves you time and money, meaning you can spend more time and money on the areas of your production that need them the most.

A clip of Earth from space isn’t exactly re-inventing the wheel, but it will still take you time to make… so why not buy one that is all ready to go, leaving you time to focus on your other scenes.

It makes sense![/x_accordion_item][x_accordion_item title=”Q: What software do you use?” open=”false”]A: Primarily After Effects and Cinema 4D. We also have a wide rang of plugins including Red Giant’s Trapcode Suite, Optical Flares and Element 3D. Our lead VFX artist is an Adobe Certified Expert in After Effects.[/x_accordion_item][/x_accordion][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section]
